Our Company

Doctor Plus Maldives is owned and operated by a group of specialist doctors and allied health professionals with the aim of providing high quality personalized healthcare in the tourism industry.

A team of experts from different areas of medicine, hospitality management and business management has come together to provide a total solution for the operation of the medical clinic at resorts. The strength of the services that we provide at the Resort Medical Clinic lies in the diverse strengths of our Team. The team of four key individuals have a diverse set of skills comprising of decades of experience in the areas of medicine, medical emergencies, medical service, providing training and business management. The key individuals bring leadership and experience into the different areas of services provided at the Resort Medical Clinic.

In addition to the extensive medical background, the Management Team has individuals with proven experience in hospitality industry of Maldives.

Trainings and Awareness Programs Provided

All training programs are designed under recommended guidelines of American Heart Association and other professional bodies.

  • Basic Life Support and First Aid Training
  • Basic pandemic care training and PPE training to front line staff of the resort.
  • First Aid & AED Training to staff of the resort.
  • Mass Casualty Preparedness trainings will be provided for staffs which will include the following:

 

  • Familiarization sessions for all related National guidelines that are related Medical Services, Medical Emergencies.
  • Trainings on the basic principles of triage will be conducted to all required staff at the resort.
  • Pandemic Preparedness and Response Training and Regular Refreshers
  • Pandemic Preparedness and Response Training and regular refreshers will be provided to senior staffs. Such trainings include the following:
  • Basic COVID care training
  • Training on use of personal protective gear
  • Regularly updated information provided on international alerts on communicable diseases relevant to the resort. This includes provision of updated information, alerts and guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO)
  • Regular refresher training sessions for all the above once a year
  • Annual table-top exercise on Pandemic Preparedness and Response training will be held.
  • Health awareness program on common conditions like hand hygiene, infection control, dengue infection, smoking cessation, diabetes, hypertension etc. will be provided.
